After almost 10 years in charge, the founder and CEO of one of the world’s most famous dating apps is stepping down.

When she launched Bumble in February 2021, Ms. Wolfe Herd, 34 years old, became the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire.

Bumble has been known for supporting women’s safety campaigns, such as advocating for the illegalization of cyber-flashing in the United Kingdom and the European Union.

According to Bumble, a similar to other dating apps, it detects nude photos sent in private chats and lets the recipient choose to view or block the images. Also, it bans users who body shame others.
