An efficient kitchen must have the working triangle in mind. This means that you should be able to move from the sink, to the oven, and the refrigerator very easily at any one given time. The l-shaped kitchen is a proponent of this triangle and it has work stations set on different walls. This means that you will not have to walk too long so as to get to the various zones. This makes meal preparation very organized.
Correct flow planning occasionally means breaking each kitchen area function down into a department, of sorts, after which deciding how those departments ought to interact with every other. They must also interact using the other, external departments from the facility: your dining room, bar, cashier, and so on. A great way to begin the design process-both for the overall company and for the kitchen-is to create a bubble diagram. Each region (or workstation) is represented being a circle, or "bubble,˝ drawn in pencil within the location you‘ve decided may be the most logical for that function. If two different workstations will be sharing some equipment, you might let the sides of their circles intersect slightly, to indicate where the shared equipment might greatest be located.
Next you may want to set a budget for the kitchen remodeling. If you do not want to go over a set amount of money, discuss this with the contractor beforehand. Make a list of what you want completed. Put the most important items at the top of the list. Get an estimate from your contractor. Make sure you sign an agreement on how much he or she will complete with a set price.
