L-shape. Wherever room isn't sufficient for a straight-line or parallel arrangement, the L-shape kitchen design is nicely suited to access several groups of gear, and is adaptable for table service restaurants. It gives you the ability to place more equipment inside a smaller room. You'll often find an L-shape design in dish washing areas, using the dish machine positioned at the center corner from the L.
Once you've decided the things you need in your ideal kitchen and where you'd like everything to be located you can then start to think about the theme. The theme will dictate what kind of fitted furniture you have installed. For instance if you go for a contemporary theme, then you‘ll probably have more sleek finishes that create a very clean image. A country kitchen design on the other hand will be much more homely and employ wooden surfaces and cupboards.
To match the metallic fixtures, light-colored and natural-looking wood is also used. Long wooden cabinets that are mounted on the wall are present in nearly all European kitchens. But through the years, the use of wood has become lesser. Most cabinet doors are now replaced with sliding frosted glass or metal to make it look clean and modern. There is also a decline in the use of hinged doors. So instead of cabinets, we now see large drawers with metallic pulls, for easier access to utensils.
